yeah it's National day eve..hhmm..i hav plenty of thing in my mind..having a rest?? out for shopping? or a movie with my younger bro?? hehehe i owed him something for his last birthday on 29th July since i was away for a holiday. Hhhmmm..still thinking of something..feel a liltle bit lazy going out for some activities since my dear not around at this moment..not in the mood doing any activities without him, missing him so much, life so dull without him beside me. :( i miss u dear..

The Hair

duhh...i can't find any better title for this topic..anyway i'm so excited about hair recently..it's just different from what happen to me 2 weeks ago, i'm so freak about my hair, split ends, frizzy and damaged..uuwwaaa i was so worried about it, i can't get my eyes and hand of this precious hair of mine. I can see the reaction of my dear when he saw how freak i was by that time, kept on asking me, "are u ok dear" " it's ok dear, it will get better''

i'm not that type who keen about my hair care, not until i have straighten my hair, i felt halfly regretted since it's look beautiful because my hair is straight and tidy but it's look horrible, when u look into it, the split ends. I have no idea what to do, i was lazy to do a treatment and so stingy about spending my money about this stuff hehe..i change so many shampoo..i was advise to use hair oil, but i think it's so greasy. Untill last week i just simply buy Sunsilk Pink- the Yogurt Care and Rejoice conditioner for damaged and frizzy hair, and Johnson Baby Oil which i apply when my hair half wet to avoid the greasy feeling. Today i have look carefully to my hair, it's surprise me to find out few split ends. Heheh thank goodness..my hair beautiful hair is back, black , silky and straight..huhuhu my precious hair..i don't need any expensive treatment for that..*wink*

it's almost end of August, 2 more days to go. and how i am looking forward for thursday because it's going to be Malaysian public holiday, our natinal day. the 49th merdeka of Malaysia. To me, it will be a rest day for me, working life is really enjoyable, challenging and keep myself occupy, that's what I love about working, but when the jobs overloading me, that will be the time i'm looking forward for a holiday or a rest. Need time seeking inspiration. Sometime i almost broke down and cry, why is it so tough, but when i think it over, i'm not the only one who has such burden, someone in the world out there might have bigger task, heavier burden, hectic schedule. and as for me, i still manage to grab a liltle for myself stop working even for few minutes to have my own time to think, to ponder, to digest, to observe things in my life. even time to jot down something in this blog of mine. Looking at daddy responsiblelity, my dear love workload and others whom i know closely, i still consider myself more blessed. I have come to realise taking even just few minutes to talk to God, or to read His word, or to call up my love one or doing some graphic design and even doing this blog, really help me a lot in releasing my pressure in work. I don have to spend so much time, i don have to go out to find a place to rest my mind. those small actions help me a lot, providing me peace in my heart and mind. I'm thankful for my life, surrounded by blessed loving people. I'm thankful God giving me this life, for i live for His purpose. Life is so Beautiful.

wow after 7 years of separation because of study and work, at last the four of us get to gather again. wellit wasn't plan to only 4 of us, me, celine, kimberly and phillys. It was suppose to be a small reunion also with Steven, Chan Chee and Ben, but they couldn't make it in the last minutes. So at last only the four ladies. Me, Phillys n Kim having our shopping spree in the Imperial Mall before we go to the meeting point , Miri Tanjung Seafood. Hehehe finally got myself a pair of heels and a pair of pinky wedges after 2 months of scouting them..These are the pictures taken during our snack at KFC

Later in the evening we proceed to Tanjung Seafood to have our dinner. And Kim was in the mood of satay so we drop by at Taman Selera to get the satay..eheh Kimmy mengidam?? Patut ko makin bulat. Finally after 7 years there we are the 4 old friends meet each other..i was so overwhelmed..everybody has something to talk about, talking about the other schoolmates, talking about our teachers..hehehe we laugh all way through..really glad to remember back that good old days. it's seen to be not much changes in 4 of us..still that talkative and funny group...except our look..Celine permed her hair she look even sweeter than before..Kim with her straight dyed hair, she even more stylish..me? hhmm no more thick spec..no more curly hair..and Phillys..hhmm she hasn't really change a lot outwardly..but i love how cheerful she is right now..the most happy go lucky girl..Hey Phil remember our advise on the heels. Thanks the Lord for that blessed evening.

hhmm what a day..just completed my proposal for upcoming project, yet there's 1 ongoing project on hand..3 project coming soon after the completion of current project..gosh...that's a work life..i'm so looking forward for my holiday with my sweetheart, oh dear..pls come back as soon as possible. Brain overloaded with many stuff sometimes i think a sunday for a rest is just not enough for me..

When Mum Is At Home

This week is a week semester break, so mum is not going to work. As for me and bros, we are always looking forward to have such break, life can be a lot better when mum is around at home. Most of all we loves having her around the house, cos we will have good breakfast, good lunch, tea time and dinner. Our meal will be more organise when she's there to cook for us. my family don't take any housemaid as we think is not necessary, house chores can done by everyone, that's what the ffamily always do when everybody come back from school and work. I normally do the laundry and dish cleaning, while the guys doing some sweeping, garbage work and other odd jobs.

I'm so thankful this week cos mum at home, she is there to prepare a proper breakfast, fried noodles, fried rice and even a beef burger for breakfast. Well, not to mention the lunch and dinner, even on usual working days she cooked great meals for us, and what more to say during this week of her break. Mum is a good cook, and she loves to try new cookings. Last few days she cooked Beef Rib Soup, Chicken cooked with chinese herbs, Chicken Rendang...yyuummm yuumm..and last nite dinner we had wild boar cook in a bamboo..wow what a mouth watering.

I have putting on weight after my last two weeks break and now plus mum's cooking..i must say i'm so blessed nowadays. Hehehe..i'm sure my sweetheart will be pleasured i'm well taken care here. Dear, you will not resist to pinch on my chubby cheeks after this.

Here are my new interest other than collecting earrings, having a collection of Silky Girl make up. Just bought the Lip Spa this morning, just can't resist of having another lips gloss, though i just bought 1 few weeks back. My fav color collection are pink and orange, which i think match my skin tone very well.

What make i choose Silky Girl most of all because of the range of color they are having is my fav. Secondly, it's simply because easy for me to get it anywhere in the supermarket, pharmacy or even the grocery shop. Well, thirdly the price is affordable, as cheap as RM8.90 per gloss. for young ladies, the teenagers, i think it's really suitable. And 1 more thing, the lip gloss is not like other lip gloss, which is non stick, easy glidding, and vibrant color. The pressed powder is oil free, keep my oily skin well matted the whole day. Hhhmmm I'm going for the blusher, eye shadow and mascara collection this weekend.

hehe..no 1 would believe this walking about 3km in the middle of midnite to home..yah that's wat happened last nite..after joining the One Voice Fest fellowship at Imperial Hotel Grand Ballroom, me, Coleman, daddy and mummy thinking of going back straight home, it was 11.45..the event still going on..but thinking of working the next day, so we decided left early. On our way home, we stopped by at the fuel station which next to Columbia Asia Medical Center, after filling up the gas then suddenly the car couldn't start..suspected battery flat..with all the 3 adults strength we struggle to push the car..forward backward yet no progress..we prayed..no change..Trying to call some friends to pick us up..it was already 12 midnight everybody is on the bed..

We had no choice but to walk home..wow walking 3km back home just imagine in the middle of the nite..so quiet..wat worry most dogs and some nasty guys.. thank God the weather was fine and breezy..walk along the side path..listening to my youngest bro Coleman singing "walking in the light of God" he seem to be enjoyed the walk..and me i was feeling so weak cos i didn't take my dinner...ah goodness..but i'm so glad that these 4 of us encouranging each other to go on and walk...surprisingly only take 30 minutes for us to walk home..just a liltle worry about daddy who looked pale when we reached..thank God he looked fine today..and me..i'm so sleepy now..huhu...wat a walk to remember

My brother Arnold has gone back to Shah Alam yesterday morning,and now left behind Daddy, Mummy, baby bro Coleman and me at home, with our 7 mischievous cats :wink: The house missing another person now, for 3 months bro Arnie with us for his semester break, the present of him at least make us feel an extra person added after bro Basil went off to Labuan to further his study in Matriculasion. Bro Arnie n Basil are the noisiest one in the house, beside bro Coleman who spend most of his time watching tv after back from school, that spoil brat. Last night everybody seem to be quiet and gloomy, i guess everybody missed the present of Bro Arnie. Though i'm the type talk less to him, compare to Bro Basil, i do feel the emptiness without Bro Arnie. huhuhu...miss him around to send me to work, to pick me up from work, ever since he knew to drive car, he was the accompany me to the graceries shopping.As mummy and daddy have no time for that. Well, no for long he has gone to Shah Alam to complete his final semester of Mechanical Engineering Diploma. All the best to my dearest bro. the family will always pray for you.

Hhhmmm ever since i completed my high school, i was the first one who left home to further my study in matriculasion and my bachelor that was for almost 5 years, and later my bro Arnie, and this year my bro Basil. The family always seem to be seldom to 6 of us get together, accept when we came back for holidays. Now I realise how lonesome daddy and mummy will be without their sweet children. Soon in 6 years time my youngest will be going off too, where me and my brothers some might be away to work elsewhere or by the time we have our own family.

It has been one week i try on this product, it continuously doing a good job on my skin, i check out my face last nite, i realise my existing blackheads and whiteheads are actually reducing, my large pores shrinking, and the most obvious one is my rough skin texture and uneven skin tone have improve tremendously. Thanks to Olay Total Effects Blemish Prone Moituriser. How it works on my wrinkles near my eyes area i think not much improvement, may be because of my frequent use of contact lense that i use to force to open my eyes, this may cause the development of fine lines.

Ahah it's tuesday..(eermmm i have no idea how to start paragraph)k what do i do this morning, well i think i look great this morning with pink layer colar blouse, mini beige skirt with split in front, i think i look feminin, my new reborned hair, long and silky black hehehe with my dell laptop and a Polo Club beige handbag..i had wowwed a lot of guys in neighbourhood office on my way to work just now.

This morning i making a lil new move with my appearance, applying eye shadow, well i did that before but only 1 layer of colour. After observing the fashion in several ladies magazines like Cleo and Women Weekly, i was thinking why not have a try on it, with 3 layers of colour,so i smudged 1 pink, dark purple and dark pink on my eyes, well it looked terrific, i think i have done something good for beginning. But once i arrived in my office, i entered the wash room, my goodness i realise 1 thing, i'm too heavily shadowed myself, hehehe look funny, now i look like a geisha hahaha...well not actually ugly but when you are a first timer on eye shadow your looked can be awkward with a sudden change. I'm the 1 occasionally wearing make up, make a brave move on myself will be something a lil weird.

On second thought, i looked ok, double check with collegue she said i looked nice, perhaps just my own acceptance hehehe still think i look like a geisha to work

My goodness i can't resist from keep on buying earring, yesterday afternoon i went out for window shopping with Phillys, i end up with another pair of earring this time the big hook earring the 1 i wore in my new hairstyle pic...hhmm another new style then, i like it..look more on the gypsy look..last monday i got another 1, this 1 was pearl stud earring..i like it look so sweet...i wore in another pic of mine, the with the title another photoshop work.well all in all i have 26 pairs now...cool i'm looking forward for another 4 pairs hahaha to make it 30 pairs..hhmm wat should i have for this time?

well not exactly newest hairstyle , i use to have the same style early last year. after almost a year of having my original hairstyle the curly long black hair, i finally decide to do another new look of myself..geee..i always wnna have a straight hair anyway so i don have to struggle with my frizzy look hair, though i look more stylish in my curly hair huhuhu a compliment to myself. So last saturday without having a second thought i brought mummy to the saloon..i plead her to perm her hair too hehee...but i was the 1 who treat her for that..well ok didn't matter my own mummy anyway i love to get something great for her...so a whole afternoon about 4 hours in the saloon just around the nieghbourhood where we both got our hair done. I don't really go for the famous hair saloon, the price is the main reason, after all i still can have the same look of my straight hair even in a small infamous saloon. My hair do cost RM180 including the treatment, my goodness i have serious split ends problems, whom i never think of, i thought dandruff is the only prob i have with my hair, after using Hand n Shoulder, my scalp is really comfy without those dandruff. My mom perming cost Rm60 pretty reasonable, and she looked younger with her permed hair. remind me the good all days hehehe...

I have tried the product that Olay have send to me last few days. Today is my 3rd day of using it. The 1st day i used it i have really attracted to the soft scented smell of the moisturiser. last saturday i finally meet two special and beloved friends hehehe ding sophiana...missing them so much...2 person important in my life..got our drink coffee bean & tea leaf, bintang plaza, hhmmm 1 thing i want to comment. i had a vanilla latte, first time sipping on it..eeewww so sweet...regretted ordering should have my fav cappucino..the blueberry cheesecakes is awesome, thick cheese layer, better than the one i use to have in mega hotel and dynasty hotel.

have not seen sophiana for almost 1 month...my goodness she;s look different..younger hehehe n sweeted hey sis..i mean it..u like nice in orange, and that hairstyle..after the outing in bintang plaza she brought to her fav place to meet her fav person...hahaha i really support u this time sis..he's really nice guy..made a move babe..don loose him this time, boleh makan free steamboat next time :P .

Got another new earring collection from sophiana, wawawa i'm so happy..she bought it from sabah, these are the best earring design i ever have..i like it, exotic design with the beads and sea shell danggling with it. i'll capture a picture i',m wearing next time.

hehehe when ppl read this topic..ppl may think this lady must be so beautiful that she would love to share her beauty testimonial...hahaha no lah ..i'm just a normal girl..not attrative..and i believe my love is not attracted to me because of my outward appearance. but 1 time he says he loves me because i'm spoilt brat (look good girl but a spoilt brat)hehehhe sot sot tei...whatever..

k but i love to share some of this tips to the rest out there who love to try...i'm the 1 who love to try anything..cause i'm to improve and to make my skin radiance...so far..hhmmm good improvement..and really i mean it...nothing so expensive to use..

1st- Jogging, light exercises...facial exercise..yah many ppl lazy to do so..but this make our skin fresh n radiance..i have done this for 1 month plus..i can see the improvement on my skin..i look fresh too..i was restless due to my long working hour.

2nd- Egg White and Honey Mask. eewwww..sticky but nice...just mix the egg white n honey, soak the facial cotton into the mixture then paste it on your face, let it dry..fully dry..then pull it upward...wow it really pull out your dead skin..tighten your skin...i love this part very much..

3rd- Green tea...drink whatever green tea you can get from the supermarket. At work i use to buy the Pokka Green tea packet..at night before sleep i make my own hot green tea sugar free. improve your blood ciculation, and ppl believe it's anti oxidant agent help anti aging. but to me it help me having soothing rest...

so that's my tips..more to come...hhmm let's in next few months what will i look...sure no change in beautiful look but i believe to have better healthy skin.

I'm so into it this few days...coffee..coffee..coffee...at 2 big cups a day...last weekend i bought this Perl Cafe product by Power Root, i bought it in Jom Heboh. Since it's so famous so i decided to try, all this while i drink coffee too, i like nescafe, special brew coffee from coffee beans and even the infamous brand of kopi cap kapal api. I love the coffee aroma, same goes with cappucino..but those coffee didn't not make me feel that i'm dying for them...hahaha...and those coffee do not made me feel sleepless.whenever i have it i will still fall asleep after 30minutes drinking it.

and this Perl cafe, making me so into it..i love the smell..and the creamy taste..not so sweet and just fine. and if i don drink it i feel so tired..hhmm am i addicted to it? huhuhu coffee addiction like my dad now...i just hav a sip of it just now..coffee anybody?

Jom Heboh TV3

Last weekend Miri Boulevard Commercial Center was pack with people...people from Brunei, Bintulu, Limbang...neighbouring towns..and mirian themselves crowding to the place to see the famous Malaysian carnival. well, it's Jom Heboh the carnival held by the famous local television network-media prima. Since it's within the walking distance from my house, my family decide to join the crowd, watching what so special about the carnival.

It's really happening event, they have set various booth, base on their television prgramme, and also some sponsorship booth. each booth have their celebraties, i managed to take photo with few of the newscaster, actress,actor and tv personalities. What i proud of id when most them saying they really enjoy their visit to miri, they like the town, clean and beautiful town, they like the people they are friendly and supportive.

ok firstly, for my foreign friends, for your information, Gawai Dayak is celebration in Malaysia celebrated by the Dayak, a race in Malaysia. It was held on the 1st and 2nd of June every year. It was a thanksgiving celebration, back in the older days the dayak celebrating it after the harvesting season, where they thanks their acient god for the good return of crops in that years.for rituals they did some worshipings, hhmmm which i don really familiar with. hehehe but when i was a child, i saw this rituals in my longhouse ( my village that build in a row of long long house - it's a traditional house of dayak in sarawak), they burn offering, offer the chicken and sometime the pigs.

but now in modern days, not many are doing such rituals,since many dayak are Christian believers, we still celebrating Gawai Dayak, but this celebration will be more on family get together. People from town coming back to villanges or longhouses. On the day itself, will be a big feast, we normally cook our traditional menu, such chicken cook in bamboo, pork cook in bamboo, glutinous rice cook in bamboo, roasted pork, and traditonal cake we call penganan (too bad i don hav the pic rite now, i'll display some other time), another benchmark (erk is that the right word) will be tuak, the rice wine, a fermented rice wine, will never be missed to be served to the everyone. Our activities on the day, will be basically, visiting and feasting throughout the day. some longhouses will organising competition, like beauty and hunk competition which we call it Kumang and Keling. Participant are required to dress in traditional costume, like the one i wore in previous picture. others will be singing competition, telematch and many more. while in town, gawai celebration will be more house visiting, dayak will have an open house, inviting friends and family to come over to their house.

This year celebration my family did not celebrating it, due to hectic schedule of work, didn't even manage to go back to my long house where i really miss to get tigather with my cousins and grandmother.Remebering my younger years, i was so excited to go back since i got a chance to jump into the river and swim there for a whole day hehee..i love my younger years.

God is at the window

There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm.
He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods.
He practiced in the woods, but he could never hit the target.
Getting a little discouraged, he headed back to dinner.
As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let the
slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head, and killed it.
He was shocked and grieved. In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile, only to
see his sister watching. Diane had seen it all, but she said nothing.

After lunch the next day Grandma said, "Diane, let's wash the dishes."

But Diane said, "Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen."

Then she whispered to him, "Remember the duck?"

So Johnny did the dishes.

Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishi!ng

and Grandma said, "I'm sorry but I need Diane to help make supper."

Diane just smiled and said, "Well that's all right because Johnny told me he wanted to help."

She whispered again, "Remember the duck?"

So Diane went fishing and Johnny stayed to help.
After several days of Johnny doing both his
chores and Diane's he finally couldn't stand it any longer.
He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck.

Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug, and said, "Sweetheart, I know.
You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing.
But because I love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would
let Diane make a slave of you."

only forgives you, but He forgets - It is by God's Grace and Mercy that we

one of my fav local goodies...it's spicy...creamy...with prawn, chickens, eggs, bee hoon in it....adding more sambal (chili + prawn paste) will make hot and yummy...i just can't resist it..spread some tamarine juice will make it taste..sour..spicy..and creamy

this a packet of laksa paste that use to make the laksa gravvy. this is what making the laksa taste so irresistable. Can be purchase in any sarawak groceries or supermarket. The gravvy is cook for long hours to produce delicious gravvy by cooking it with a pot of water..when it's boiled, a bowl of coconut milk will be added in. add salt to taste...so walah...the gravvy is done.

for noodles ingredient will be soaked bee hoon, a thin vecimille, blunch bean sprout, boiled prawn,shredded chicken and shreded omelette. Pour the gravvy on top of ingredient and garnishing it with saleries..and ready to be served.

hhuummm it's spicy and creamy taste really alluring...just got 1 this morning.

Simply rice cooked in coconut milk (knotted pandanus leaves and even ginger or a stalk of lemon grass may be tossed into the pot to add fragrance), imparting a creamy texture to the grains, nasi lemak is available on almost every street corner and in almost every local-themed restaurant, served with everything from chicken to beef to cuttlefish.

Essential condiments:

Fried ikan bilis (anchovies)
Fried peanuts
Cucumber slices
Wedges of hardboiled egg (variations: fried eggs, or slices of omelette)
Sambal (a kind of cooked chili paste, plain with onions or with ikan bilis too)

Extras:

Chicken curry or rendang
Beef curry or rendang
Mutton curry or rendang
Cuttlefish sambal or curry
Chicken liver and gizzard curry
Fried chicken
Fried cow lung (paru)
Begedil (potato cutlets sometimes mixed with minced meat)

Typically costing RM1 to RM2, depending on the amount of rice and the quantity of condiments that accompany it.

hhmmm i don't consider myself beautiful, to me i'm just normal young lady with charming smiles hahaha...anyway i got 1 tip that i think it's might help some ladies. i have very thin eye brow and light colored, having well groomed, thick beautiful eye brow, is always i hope to be. so when i was 19, i start to learn grooming eye brow by tweezing it.not only well groom, in fact it help my eye brow to grow more. and this made me easier to groom my eye brow. Doing embroiding or tatooing my eye brow is beyond my afford. and i nvr dare to do such thing, cause it might have effect. so last year i start with another new trick on my eye brow, brushing a little bit of mascara on eye brow, and this time it has come with more beautiful result. It's actually darken my eye brow, and thickening it. hehehe just a little tips on this..

My 25th Birthday

the 2nd April 2006, i'm 25 years old at last. It's hard to believe i have reached especially with this petite size of me,hehehe...most people think that I'm in my late teenage years or early 20's..yah sound so nice, i look young for that. Plus my cheerful attitude, i must admit it, young energetic person, and one of the spoilt brat in the family, no doubt why people think i'm younger than my age. sometimes i try to dress older, but i too scare to look at myself with such appearance, make myself awkward, so I decided to dress what ever I am to be. Moderate attire, moderate make up, but one part i love to dress exagerrating, my earrings, I love to try on all kind of earrings, especially the gypsy style, the dangling style.

anyway this year birthday, it's fall on sunday, i made it as tradition to me, wake up exactly 6.10 a.m in the morning and giving praise to the Lord. why that time in the morning? because i was born at that hour of time back 25 years ago. I went to early mornig church service with family then went to work at the optical shop that I doing my part time. There I got surprise celebration from my friends. I can't forget that moment, I was asked to go to the bank to bank-in our previous sales collection, then when i was backed i was surprise by their birthday song they play from the pc and birthday cheesecakes. i was having trouble to blow the candles..took sometimes for me to blew it off..guess what for my birthday present..hehehe boon said we are giving something that you will never forget us, something close to my heart. indeed until now they are always close to my heart, the striking pink color of lingeries set. Anyway boon, kho, glad u guys remember my size feel comfortable wearing it hahaha...i love it...and tze yong that rascal, he putted the icing on my face.

and later at night i was surprise by my lovely family, mom was preparing my fav curry dish, bro basil with his cooking talent he cooked spaghetti for me..yummy i loved it guys...that the 1st celebration with my family after i was away to further my study 6 years ago..

as for my love yes i got something from him too..what i treasure most is every moment of love he gave to me in my life.

I'm totally blessed...blessed with my lovely family, wonderful friends and sweet love around me. I love u guys..u r my greatest birthday gift from God.

Have you ever noticed a change in your physical appearance (skin, hair, face, body, etc.) after prayer or any other spiritual activity?

Can a spiritual life make you more attractive on the outside as well as the inside? How?

In today's society when people seem fixated on outer beauty, this seems to be something we as Christian women should be discussing openly, and setting an example of how inner beauty is reflected in our outer appearance.

Jesus Christ is beautiful. And if we reflect His beauty in our character, then it has no choice but to bubble out of His temple...our bodies. After all, is beauty really beauty if it's kept out of sight? What good is a light unless there are people to enjoy what it illuminates?

The Bible talks about whatever is in a person's heart is what they are. With Jesus Christ in my heart, I am beautiful....that doesn't mean I have to be beautiful by the world's standards. In fact, I'm not...by far! However, I am the bride of Christ, and to Him, I am beautiful. Besides, outer beauty dies with the body - and it gets wrinkled and grey, and all that. Personally, I think grey is beautiful....still, my beauty, the only kind I possess, will last forever.

As Christian women who radiate the beauty of Christ, let's be examples to the world of what kind of beauty truly is important.

My Beautiful Life after Study

Being a fresh grad, I consider myself so blessed. Remember few months back, when I was just complited my study years in KUITTHO, Johor, i have fear in my heart that I might having difficuties to find my job, especially my intention to start my career in my hometown Miri. Many people when they heard i intend to work in Miri, familiar answer will be given "are you sure about that, there's nothing much you can do for software engineering or IT in this small place", hhmmm..it's really discouraging. Last February I was receiving an offer from an IT company in KL, without thinking twice, I rejected the offer. Sound like a stupid move to many people rejecting good offer, but what I believe God has something for me in here, yes here in Miri.

Why do I want to work here in Miri? My main objectives, is to be with my family, after years of away from them because of my study, and that was no choice to choose, and now I have my choice where to work. Though Miri may have not big market for IT career, but I believe god is providing a place for me. So I have choosen Miri, all I have to do is just wait, and enjoy it. Second reason for me, it's my great advantage to stay here with my family I do not have to spend much expenditure, I can make a lot of saving in term of my accomodation, since my objective to own a house of my own within 2- 3 years hehehe...i'm so anxious of it. Another reason because I have longing to serve in my church youth..i believe God's calling for me..He has called me few years back..and now here I am, to bring the beacon in His young people. And what ever it is the reason, i grow here..both physically, mentally, spiritually and here I am to bless Miri.

Back to my period of waiting for the job offer, I was doing my temporary work in England Optical Imperial Mall, and I believe once again that God put me there not by accident, everything in Him is a purpose. Not just gaining new experience, but opening my eyes to many things..people from all walks of lifes i should say. Getting to know a group of wonderful people from EO Imperial is a blessing to me, realising that these are people who love and care for a fiend unconditionally, teaching me the value of friendship, I can't forget the moment of laughter with them and the moment of bearing late coming of salary, and how I can bear with only 500++ salary a month, working long hours, dealing with troublesome customer..what a life...best of all i deepen my knowledge concerning eyes..spectacles..contact lense which I love so much..

Meanwhile waiting for job offer is not that easy to me when no reply from any company, submitted numbers of resume, but I think I am the only one facing that. I have my temporary job is enough to keep my weary away. Last wednesday I was call for an interview in Petra, it sounded so promising unfortunately I lost the job to another guy, I was disapointed but I remember my mom use to tell me, God will give the best. Then last April I was called for an interview by Global Technology System, and praise God I was offered by the organization. Though it's infamous organization, I appreciated for that wonderful offer. Now here I am sitted in my new place, with great responsibility, where I am honoured to be part of this organization. My career has just started, I am glad that God provide something to me. throughout last 6 months, I thanks God for moulding me , nuture me. I pray and I hope God's glory continue to shine in me. Dear Lord, thanks for making my life beautiful.

10 Tips to Fight Headache Pain

When a migraine headache takes hold, resistance, as the evil rulers say, is futile—at least, for all but the most heroic among us. But before a headache springs full blown, you may be able to avoid or dial down the pain by taking evasive action. Not every tip listed here works for everyone, and change doesn't come overnight. But experimenting with these suggestions may help you avoid getting a headache, or better manage one if it does arrive.

No. 1: Keep a headache diary.
Writing down the details of your headaches—how long they last, how severe they are, what was happening before the pain started and how you sought relief—can help you and your doctor identify your headache "triggers." For example, certain foods may bring on headaches, as can stress, menstrual cycles, bright light, perfumes and even changes in the weather. Once you have an idea of what could be fueling your headaches, you can try to avoid at least some of the triggers. "If you don't write things down and look at it over the course of time, you may not see relationships when it comes to trigger factors," says Dr. Fred Freitag, associate director of the Chicago-based Diamond Headache Clinic and a board member of the National Headache Foundation. "It may not be just one thing by itself that affects you. It may be several factors."

No. 2: Watch what you eat.
Food often gets the blame for triggering migraine headaches. In fact, so many foods have been implicated, says Dr. Lisa Mannix, a neurologist with Headache Associates in Cincinnati, that axing them all would mean giving up a healthy diet. Besides, she adds, only 20 percent to 30 percent of people can consistently identify the foods that trigger their headaches. Still, it won't hurt to experiment by dropping a couple of the most frequent troublemakers to see if it makes a difference. Start with what Mannix calls "the big three": red wine; processed meats and other foods that contain sodium nitrite; and foods that contain the seasoning monosodium glutamate, or MSG.

No. 3: Get enough magnesium.
Magnesium relaxes blood vessels and reduces the likelihood that migraine-inducing electric signals in the brain will be generated, both of which can cut your chances of getting a headache. Supplements are OK, says Freitag, but try making changes in your diet first to see if you notice any improvement. For example, replace white-flour breads and pastas with whole-wheat versions. Other magnesium-rich foods include leafy green vegetables and nuts (although for some, nuts are a headache trigger).

No. 4: Eat regular meals.
Just as important as avoiding foods that may trigger headaches is making sure you eat a healthy diet and don't skip meals. As Freitag explains, your brain runs on two things: oxygen and sugar converted from the food you eat. Once that sugar is gone, you need to feed your brain. In fact, if you tend to wake up with morning headaches, Freitag suggests eating a piece of fruit just before you go to bed to see if that helps stave off the early morning pain.

No. 5: Be careful with caffeine, alcohol and tobacco.
For some sufferers, caffeine's a major culprit. “When it's ingested daily or nearly daily it tends to make migraines worse," says Freitag. Alcohol, especially red wine and dark liquors, can be headache triggers. So can tobacco and second-hand smoke, which you shouldn't be messing around with anyway, headaches or not.

No. 6: Stick to a sleep schedule.
Keeping regular hours—even on the weekends—may help you avoid pain. Mannix advises her patients to make a concentrated effort to go to bed and get up at the same time each and every day. "Remember," she says, "we're talking about your very sensitive nervous system. Any change—external or internal—can change how you feel."

No. 7: Exercise regularly.
The idea is to improve the production of endorphins, the brain's natural painkillers. To do that, Freitag advises a minimum of 20 minutes to a half-hour of concentrated aerobic exercise, such as walking at a brisk, 4-miles-per-hour pace at least three times a week. Mannix says go for more if you can: 30 to 60 minutes per session, five days a week.

No. 8: Manage stress.
You can try all kinds of techniques, from massage to yoga to biofeedback. The important thing, says Mannix, is to find something you can do fairly quickly and easily. "Dealing with stress successfully sometimes means just giving yourself some time," she says. Read a book, go for a walk, even go shopping if that works for you.

No. 9: Try acupressure.
Acupressure, a form of traditional Chinese medicine that's based on the same ideas as acupuncture, involves putting gentle pressure on different points of your body and is a technique you can do yourself. Finding out if it works for you, Freitag says, may take a bit of trial and error. "But you can do all these things together," he says. "When you feel a headache coming on, you can take some Ibuprofen and do your acupressure. They're not mutually exclusive."

No. 10: Apply a cold pack.
Cold, says Freitag, "has a bit of a local anesthetic effect." So, go ahead: Place a cold pack on your forehead. "You don't need a fancy ice pack," says Freitag. "All you need is a package of frozen peas wrapped in a towel."
